Ooh, today is National Juggling Day!

I want to learn to juggle.  That would be cool.  And then I could join the circus.

Make-up pouches

As promised, here are the photos of the make-up pouches I made for Morgan, a girl from work if you missed the previous post.

You've won...A New Car!

No, not really.  Had to take out a loan on it, but hey I still got a new car.  And hence why I've been away.  I bought a 2005 PT Cruiser.  No, mine is not an "old lady car."  I think it's pretty cool, and one of the coolest cars I've owned.

Anyway, I've been making make-up pouches too.  I made two for a girl at work then showed them to a couple of other girls and they want some too.  I think I might start a trend.  Pictures soon to come.  And you can order some too :)

National Chocolate Ice Cream Day is today!  I scream you scream we all scream for CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM!  Despite lactose intolerance I may have to break down and have some.

You should too.

And if you have kids make sure they have some too.  They might want sprinkles too.

Then after you're done with the first helping, have some more.

Today is National Gardening Exercise Day!  So, head outside to your garden and do a workout.

It's also, National Yo-yo Day!  I wish I had a yo-yo I'd totally yo-yo all over the place.

Toddler Dress

I have a friend who lives in Ohio and she and I actually haven't seen each other since high school or maybe even longer, but we've hooked up again on Facebook.  She's married now and has a little girl who's about 14 months-old.  Her name is Piper and she's the cutest little girl.

Isn't she adorable?!

Anyway, I decided since she's so fashion forward that she needed an original dress from me :)

It took a lot of effort because I did a lot of guessing but I think it turned out pretty well.

I made the dress in a patchwork, and since I had some leftover fabric I thought, why not a headband to match?  And throw on a flower for good measure.  I can't wait until she sees it and I get to see it on her.

The other morning my mom announced to me that it was National Doughnut Day, which, of course, made me crave doughnuts all day.  But it also made me wonder what other random holidays there are each month.  Well, I did my research and found a website that had a list of random holidays each day of the month.

Today, June 5th, is World Environment Day.  Who knew?

So, let's talk about environmental issues and spread the word.
